Is there terms and conditions to booking a party?

Yes. Most parties have similar terms and conditions. You can read in detail click this link. We suggest to read the T&Cs before booking and paying deposit.

 

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. Deposits are required within 2-4 days of making a booking. Different deposit amounts are required for our party packages. If the deposit is not paid within this time, your booking will be cancelled and made available for our waiting list.

 

When do you require payment and what method of payment do you take?

Our preferred method of remaining payment is cash on the day, unless organised prior. We also accept EFT and Visa/MasterCard (will incur a 2% fee). Payment with EFT, Visa/MasterCard must be cleared 4 days prior to the party.

 

What happens if I cancel my party after paying the deposit?

If you have already paid your deposit and cancel the party you will lose your deposit completely. If cancelled with more than 14 days before the party you can save your deposit by transferring the date (you will not receive a refund but a credit towards another date).

If you cancel within 14 days of the party you will lose your deposit completely and cannot use it as credit for another date.

 

I want to book a party but I have less guests then on the package. Can I do this and how much will it cost?

Yes of course you can do it! We do have a minimum spend for all parties, therefore if there are fewer children our party host will give birthday child and guests extra treats to make up the time. This means you are still getting value for money and your birthday child will still feel extra special. We don't discount the party price.

 

I have extra children for the package I like. Will you do this and how much will it cost?

Yes we will do this! Our packages are designed to get the most out of the time we state with a manageable amount of children. For parties with more children there will be extra costs. It may be easier to book an extra host to keep children entertained and contained. For a quote on how much this will cost please This email address is being protected from spambots. What time do the entertainers arrive?

They will arrive 10-20 minutes before to set up and be ready to start at the time party is booked.

 

I am concerned that I have a mixed group of boys and girls and the ages vary. Can you provide entertainment for all?

This is perfectly fine. It is important we are notified that there is both boys and girls at the party so we ensure we have gifts and prizes for both. We cater to all ages and both to young boys and girls. Our activities and prizes are suited for boys and girls. The face painting will suit the age of the child, games, pamper treats and music are age appropriate too. From our experience the older children often enjoy helping our entertainers.

 

Do you charge a travel fee?

Yes if your event is located more than 30km from Baulkham Hills. We do travel all over Sydney. If you are within the 30km radius of Baulkham Hills there is no travel fee.

 

I want to have two entertainers because I have a large group of children, will this cost me anything?

If you need an extra entertainer to help host the party you will be charged a call out fee for that extra entertainer as well as any additional charges for extra guests.

 

How will I know how much I owe?

A schedule will be sent out the week prior to the party with final numbers, costs and any additional information.

 

Do you sell extra treats which the children can take home?

Yes we do. You can purchase our goodie boxes full of toys and party favours via our booking forms. This is located on each package page.

 

Can you come to a venue and are you covered with your own public liability?

Yes we travel to homes, parks, venues and we are covered with our own public liability. We can send you the certificate of currency via email on request.

 

How do I know the entertainers are experienced and safe to work with kids?

All our staff have a current 'working with children check'. They have been trained extensively and we pride ourselves on our professionalism and reliability.

 

Do you have male entertainers?

No, all our staff are female, young and vibrant and connect well with both genders.

 

What do we need to do to set up the party?

Each party has different set up requirements. More information below.

Do you supply your own table and chairs?

No, we don't supply chairs and tables. Set up details are on each party package page please read carefully. The only table and chairs that are supplied are hired with the high tea party package at an extra cost.

 

Do you supply decorations?

No, we do not supply or decorate for the party.

 

I’m not sure if I want to book a party yet but I would like to know if the date and time is available. How do I go about this?

If there is an issue with the date we will be in contact.

 

I live in a unit, will there be enough room for a party?

Each party has different requirements. Most parties can be held in a unit or small house. As long as children have space to sit for activities and room to dance. Keep in mind the parking restrictions of a unit complex. Please ensure entertainers can park nearby.

 

Do we need to provide shelter or shade for the entertainer?

Whilst we can play games and dance in the sun, we require shade for the products like face paint, make up and other products. Therefore we require a spot in the shade to pamper, face paint and set up the high tea. Please note if the weather is too hot or cold it isn't enjoyable for children and entertainers.

 

Do we need to provide power?

Yes, we require power for our music. However if this is a corporate event or a party at a park we can arrange for a battery operated stereo.

 

Is there food included in the package?

We do not provide food for the party but we do take care of everything else! The only package that has food included is our high tea party packages.

 

When do the children eat during the party?

Please keep in mind our parties are tailored for children to eat finger food for the duration of the party. Sit down meals are not suitable to eat whilst the entertainer is there as this time is spent on face painting, games and dancing. If you have special considerations about stopping to eat please ask and discuss with host on arrival.

I only want a hummer ride, do you offer this option?

Kids Entertainment Sydney is not a booking agency for other entertainment businesses. We offer a combined package with a hummer limo ride, which includes a pampering party host. 

 

What face paint do you use?

Our entertainers use the brands TAG, Global and Cameleon. These brands are very reputable and of high quality, suitable for sensitive skin and hypoallergenic.

 

Do I need to ride in the Hummer with children?

It is up to you if you would like to go in the hummer. Sometimes parents follow in the car, some go in the hummer. In regards to adult supervision there is the driver and the entertainer traveling with children. As long as the capacity is adhered to. For example our 14 seater will seat 14 of your guests, could be 12 children with mum and dad.
