Is there terms and conditions to booking a party?

Yes most parties have the same terms and conditions. You can read in detail by click this link. Also once you book and before you pay your deposit we suggest to read the T&C's and send you the link via email.

 

When do you require payment and what method of payment do you take?

Only the deposit is required within 2-4 days of making a booking. Our preferred method of payment is cash on the day but we also accept EFTPOS and Visa/MasterCard will incur a 2.5% fee. Payment with EFTPOS, Visa/MasterCard must be cleared prior to the party.

 

I want to book a party but I only have less guests. Can I do this and how much will it cost?

Yes of course we can do it! We do have a minimum spend for all parties so in the case where there are fewer children our party host will give your birthday girl extra treats to make up the time. This means you are still getting value for money and your birthday child will still feel extra special.

 

What time do the entertainers arrive?

They will arrive 10-15 minutes before to set up and be ready to start on the time you booked for.

 

I have 20 children and want to book a Fun for all package. Will you do this and how much will it cost?

Yes we will do this! Our packages are designed to get the most out of the time with a manageable amount of children. For parties with more children there will be extra costs and keep in mind you may need to book two hosts to keep the party manageable. I am concerned that i have a mixed group of boys and girls and the ages vary?

This is perfectly fine. We cater to all ages and both to boys and girls. The face painting will suit the age of the child, games and music also. Some times the older children enjoy helping our entertainers.

 

Do you charge a travel fee?

For the Hills District and surrounding areas we do not charge a travel fee. If you live out of a 30 km radius of Baulkham Hills we still travel to you for a small travel fee. You will be advised if a travel fee applies to you.

 

I want to have two entertainers come because I have a large group of girls, will this cost me anything?

If you need an extra entertainer to help host the party you will be charged a call out fee for that extra entertainer as well as any additional charges for extra guests.

 

How will I know how much i owe?

Once final numbers are given in the week of the party a schedule will be sent out will all money owing along with all information about the party including final numbers and any additional information.

 

 

Do you sell extra treats which the children can take home?

Yes we do. You can purchase our goodie boxes full of toys and party favours.

 

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, deposits are required within 2-4 days of making a booking. A $200 deposit is required with two entertainers and a $100 deposit is required for all parties with one entertainer. If the deposit is not paid within this time, the slot may be made available for other requests.

 

What happens if I cancel my party after paying the deposit?

If you have already paid your deposit and cancel the party you will lose your deposit completely. If canceled with more than seven days left before the party you can save your deposit by transferring the date (you will not receive a refund but it will be credited as the deposit to an alternative date). If you cancel within seven days of the party you will lose your deposit completely and cannot use it as credit for another date.

 

Can you come to a venue and are you covered with your own public liability?

Yes we travel to homes, venues and we are covered with our own public liability. We can send you the certificate of currency via email on request.

 

How do i know the entertainers are experienced and safe to work with kids?

All our staff have the current 'working with children' check. They have been trained extensively and we pride ourselves on consistency and making sure our entertainers look like the character you have chosen.

 

Do you have male entertainers?

No sorry all our staff are female in order to connect with both sex's and to perform face painting, pamper treats etc...

 

What do we need to do to set up the party?

Each party is different as they require different set ups.

King and Queen of the Castle

Power supply is needed for stereo or request for battery stereo if you are in a park

If you are in a park a generator is needed for the jumping castle, $70 for 4 hours will be charged on request

One table approx 80cm*80cm and one chair for entertainer

Allocated space and a flat surface for the jumping castle with access to power.

Inside or outdoor shaded, covered area required for party host whilst she face paints (Products must be kept out of sun and heat)

I’m not sure if I want to book a party yet but I would like to know if the date and time is available. How do I go about this?

Please do not fill in a booking request unless you are committed to the booking. If you are committed to a booking and fill in the request and the date and time is unavailable you will be contacted letting you know what other dates and times are available.

 

I live in a unit, will this be enough room for a party?

Each party has different requirements. All parties should be fine to be held in a small house or unit. Kids need space to sit for activities and room to dance.

Is there food included in the package?

No mums and dads we do not provide the food for the party but we do take care of everything else! We strongly suggest finger food so the kids can refuel as we entertain them.

 

When do the children eat during the party?

Please keep in mind our parties are tailored for children to eat finger food for the duration of the party. Sit down meals are not suitable to eat whilst the entertainer is there as this time is spent all on face painting, games and dancing. If you have special considerations about stopping to eat please ask and discuss with host on arrival.

I only want a hummer ride, do you offer this option?

Kids Entertainment Sydney is strictly not a booking agency for other entertainers. We offer a combined package with a hummer limmo ride which includes a pampering party host, however you cannot book a hummer driver on their own through us. This also applies to our packages with Betts candy buffet, we only book the combined parties with them.
